Welcome to Creative Arts 4 Kids! My name is Mary Edmundson - I am a retired, credentialed teacher with over 45 years teaching experience. I truly love teaching arts and crafts to children - watching the wonder and amazement on their faces as they create their own art. I deliver lessons in a caring, fun and explorative environment. We study the “Elements of Art” (the building blocks) first. Next, we build upon these skills by studying the “Principals of Art.” As my students gain skills, they feel confident to experiment with different styles and techniques. My goal is to work with each child at his/her age & experience level - so that what the student learns and creates can be celebrated. As a child’s skills progress, slightly more challenging projects will be added. I am currently a home school vendor for River Springs Charter School and Julian Charter School - and I welcome children who attend school in a more traditional setting. I teach in my home and try to make it comfortable, fun & exciting!
